ABOUT FEDERICO PAULOVICH

STUDIES:

Fede was born in 1985 near Milan, Italy, and began his musical studies at the age of 9.
He took lessons through the years from some of the greatest italian and international drummers and teachers such as Chris Coleman, Rob Carson, Gergo Borlai, Maxx Furian, Alfredo Golino, Stefano Bagnoli and Sergio Pescara.
He attended numerous workshops, clinics and masterclasses given by drumming greats including Gavin Harrison, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Johnny Rabb, Marco Minneman, Jojo Mayer, Steve Smith, Benny Greb, Virgil Donati and many more.

COLLABORATIONS:

Best-known as the drummer of Destrage - alternative-metal band that has published 6 records with worldwide distribution (Metal Blade Records, 3Dot Recordings), and done several tours across Europe, UK, Japan, and North America - he is an all-around drummer who has played for a great variety of artists both live and in the studio, performing hundreds of shows and recording dozens of albums of all musical styles.

DRUM FESTIVALS & CLINIC TOURS:

Everything that’s related to the world of drums, education, and solo-performance, has always had a central role in Fede’s career, and granted him international recognition in the drum community.
In 2007 he won the international percussion competition “PercFest - Memorial Naco”, and ever since then he’s been invited to perform at some of the most relevant drum-shows in the world, sharing the stage with the greatest drummers alive:

Being a very active clinician has always been one of the main focuses in Fede’s career: Starting out in 2012 as “Opening Act” for the 20 dates of the “Chris Coleman Italian Clinic Tour”, he then begun a long series of successful clinic tours which includes: 3 Clinic Tours in China, 1 Clinic Tour in Spain, 1 European and UK Clinic Tour with Matt Halpern, and 1 Masterclass Tour in Italy, Spain and France along with his long-time friends Chris Coleman and Dave Elitch called the “Level Up Tour”. In the last 10 years he’s done dozens and dozens of clinics all around Italy, Switzerland, Japan and at the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles.

His passion for drums and music and his vocation for education led Fede to begin teaching drums at a very young age, privately at first and then in some of the best schools in Milan:
